The city is considering demolition of historic St. Liborius Church, home to Sk8 Liborius, after an inspection determined that the property is in dangerous condition following the devastating fire that damaged it in 2023.

Bedwell said the organization remains active and is already working on different plans to restore the property. Among the proposals is transforming the damaged structure into a new open-air skate park, taking advantage of the fact that much of the roof was lost in the fire.
