The flood watch remains in effect until at least 7:00 p.m. on Friday and could be extended depending on the evolution of the weather. Officials warn that soils are already saturated by recent rains, increasing the risk of flash flooding even with new moderate rainfall.

Emergency services recommend that the population stay attentive to weather warnings and avoid driving on flooded streets or roads. If you find water covering the road, the recommendation is to turn around and look for an alternate route. Also, those living in flood-prone areas should be prepared to move to higher locations if conditions require it.
