Hay sueños que cambian con el tiempo y otros que simplemente esperan el momento indicado para volver a ocupar el primer lugar. Para Ana Marmolejo, la actuación pertenece a la segunda categoría. Después de varios años enfocada en otras experiencias personales y profesionales, la actriz retoma con fuerza una vocación que descubrió desde niña y que hoy vuelve a ocupar un lugar central en sus planes.

Some dreams change over time, while others simply wait for the right moment to reclaim center stage. For Ana Marmolejo, acting belongs to the latter. After spending several years focused on other personal and professional experiences, the actress is once again embracing a calling she discovered as a child—one that has now returned to the heart of her plans for the future.

Originaria de El Paso, Texas, Marmolejo recuerda que desde pequeña encontraba en la actuación su forma favorita de imaginar, crear y expresarse. Con los años, convirtió esa pasión en una preparación profesional que incluye estudios y talleres en instituciones como Casa Azul, Stella Adler Academy of Acting y la Universidad de la Comunicación, entre otros espacios de formación artística.

Originally from El Paso, Texas, Marmolejo recalls that acting was her favorite way to imagine, create and express herself from an early age. Over the years, she transformed that passion into professional training, pursuing studies and workshops at institutions such as Casa Azul, the Stella Adler Academy of Acting and Universidad de la Comunicación, among other artistic training programs.

Hoy, Ana mira hacia una nueva etapa con una visión mucho más definida: construir una carrera sólida en cine y series y convertirse en una actriz reconocida por su talento, presencia y versatilidad.

Today, Ana is entering a new chapter with a much clearer vision: to build a solid career in film and television series and become an actress recognized for her talent, presence and versatility.

“Siempre supe que quería actuar. Desde niña era lo que más me gustaba hacer y nunca ha habido otra profesión que haya ocupado ese lugar en mi corazón. Hoy tengo muchas ganas de volver a darle todo a ese sueño y construir la carrera que siempre imaginé”, comparte.

“I always knew I wanted to act. Ever since I was a child, it was what I loved doing most, and no other profession has ever held that same place in my heart. Today, I'm eager to give everything I have to that dream again and build the career I've always imagined,” she shares.

Su inspiración también está puesta en mujeres que han logrado convertir su talento en carreras internacionales. Salma Hayek, Eva Longoria, Sofía Vergara, Eiza González y Jennifer López forman parte de sus referentes. No solo por sus trayectorias frente a las cámaras, sino también por la manera en que han construido una identidad propia dentro y fuera de la industria.

She also draws inspiration from women who have successfully transformed their talent into international careers. Salma Hayek, Eva Longoria, Sofía Vergara, Eiza González and Jennifer Lopez are among her role models—not only because of their achievements in front of the camera, but also because of the way they have built distinctive identities both within and beyond the entertainment industry.

“Admiro a mujeres que han sabido construir una carrera, pero también una marca y una identidad. Me gustaría que mi camino tuviera esa misma fuerza: ser reconocida primero como actriz y, a partir de ahí, poder crecer hacia proyectos y oportunidades cada vez más grandes”, explica.

“I admire women who have known how to build a career, but also a brand and an identity. I would like my own path to have that same strength: to be recognized first as an actress and, from there, continue growing toward increasingly significant projects and opportunities,” she explains.

Actualmente, Marmolejo divide su tiempo entre Ciudad de México y Miami, dos ciudades que considera importantes para esta nueva etapa profesional y desde las cuales busca ampliar sus horizontes dentro de la industria audiovisual.

Currently, Marmolejo divides her time between Mexico City and Miami, two cities she considers important to this new professional chapter and from which she hopes to expand her opportunities within the film and television industry.

Su apuesta también contempla una conexión cada vez mayor entre actuación, moda y lifestyle, con el objetivo de construir una imagen elegante y auténtica que pueda convivir naturalmente con su carrera artística. Entre sus grandes aspiraciones están formar parte de producciones de plataformas como Netflix, Prime Video y HBO, así como colaborar con firmas internacionales de belleza, joyería y lujo.

Her vision also includes an increasingly strong connection between acting, fashion and lifestyle, with the goal of developing an elegant and authentic image that naturally complements her artistic career. Among her major aspirations are joining productions for platforms such as Netflix, Prime Video and HBO, as well as collaborating with international beauty, jewelry and luxury brands.

Y aunque las redes sociales se han convertido en una herramienta cada vez más importante para los actores, Ana tiene claro que su prioridad está frente a la cámara.

And although social media has become an increasingly important tool for actors, Ana is clear that her priority remains in front of the camera.

“Claro que las redes son parte de la industria actual, pero quiero que mi trabajo hable por mí. No quiero ser famosa por ser famosa. Quiero ser actriz y que, si algún día llega la fama, sea como consecuencia de haber construido una carrera de la que me sienta orgullosa”.

“Of course, social media is part of today's industry, but I want my work to speak for me. I don't want to be famous just for the sake of being famous. I want to be an actress, and if fame ever comes, I want it to be the result of having built a career I can be proud of.”
