“Si por casualidad viste una carretera llena de abejas atravesando la zona hoy, ¡no te preocupes, no estaban tratando de escapar!”. Así lo publicó el Departamento de Policía en redes sociales junto con fotografías.

“If you happened to see a highway loaded with bees traveling through the area today—don’t worry, they weren’t making a break for it!” the police department posted on social media alongside photos.

El departamento informó que las abejas estaban siendo transportadas por la carretera en su camino hacia huertos y otras áreas agrícolas donde son necesarias para la polinización.

The department shared that the bees were being driven along the highway on their way to orchards and other agricultural areas where they are needed for pollination.

“Según nuestros oficiales de CMV/DOT, transportar abejas de esta manera es completamente normal. Lo que resulta un poco inusual es verlas en la carretera durante el día, ya que estas cargas normalmente se transportan durante las horas más frescas”, continuó la publicación.

“According to our CMV/DOT officers, transporting bees like this is completely normal. What’s a little unusual is seeing them on the road during the daytime, as these loads are typically transported during cooler hours,” the post continued.
