El grupo mexicano de salsa La Bendición y el cantante venezolano Jambene se unen en “Cuidao por ahí”, una canción de “gozadera para el barrio” y sencillo de avance del disco “La Bendición Vol. 1”.

The Mexican salsa group La Bendición and Venezuelan singer Jambene join forces on “Cuidao por ahí,” a track described as a “party anthem for the neighborhood” and the lead single from their upcoming album, La Bendición Vol. 1.

“Es una dedicatoria a los parceros que andan en la vuelta. Que tengan ‘cuidao por ahí’, como dice este mambo en el que se montó Jambene. Para que truene en todas las calles de México, Colombia, Venezuela y Latinoamérica”, señaló Gabriel Melgarejo, uno de sus productores.

“It’s a dedication to the parceros [buddies] out there on the hustle—telling them to ‘watch out’ [cuidao por ahí], just as this mambo track that Jambene jumped on suggests. We want it to blast through the streets of Mexico, Colombia, Venezuela, and all of Latin America,” noted Gabriel Melgarejo, one of the group’s producers.

Por su parte, Jambene dijo: “este es un tema que me encanta, tiene esencia, habla un poco del pillo y de la calle caliente”.

For his part, Jambene stated: “This is a track I absolutely love; it has real essence. It speaks a bit to the street hustler mentality and the heat of the streets.”

“Me recuerda a la época de Willy Colón y Héctor Lavoe, de salsa con mucha personalidad que nos marcó un antes y un después a nivel de arreglos y musicalidad”, añadió el cantante venezolano.

“It reminds me of the era of Willy Colón and Héctor Lavoe—salsa with immense personality that marked a turning point for us in terms of arrangements and musicality,” the Venezuelan singer added.

El tema, ya disponible en las plataformas digitales, fue escrito y producido por los integrantes de La Bendición (Michael Rincón, Gabriel Melgarejo, Julián Bernal y Geovanis Alcántara), además de por Jambene.

The track, now available on digital platforms, was written and produced by the members of La Bendición (Michael Rincón, Gabriel Melgarejo, Julián Bernal, and Geovanis Alcántara), along with Jambene.

Alcántara ha ganado tres veces el Latin Grammy y Bernal ha estado nominado dos veces. Desde su nacimiento en 2022, La Bendición continúa posicionándose como una de las agrupaciones más prometedoras dentro de la nueva ola de salsa hecha en México, conquistando tanto a amantes del género como a nuevas audiencias.

Alcántara is a three-time Latin Grammy winner, while Bernal has received two nominations. Since its inception in 2022, La Bendición has continued to establish itself as one of the most promising acts within the new wave of Mexican-made salsa, winning over both longtime genre aficionados and new audiences alike.
