La medida fue anunciada por el United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), la agencia federal encargada de procesar beneficios migratorios. A partir de ahora, los solicitantes deberán utilizar una nueva versión del formulario I-765, documento indispensable para pedir o renovar el permiso de empleo conocido como Employment Authorization Document (EAD).
