St. Louis Weekend: Festivals, Music, Sports and Celebrations, August 28–30
St. Louis se prepara para despedir agosto con uno de los fines de semana más activos del verano. Del viernes 28 al domingo 30 de agosto de 2026, la región ofrecerá festivales internacionales, conciertos, deportes profesionales, actividades familiares y celebraciones especiales de la comunidad latina.
St. Louis is preparing to close out August with one of the busiest weekends of the summer. From Friday, August 28 through Sunday, August 30, 2026, the region will offer international festivals, concerts, professional sports, family activities, and special celebrations within the Latino community.
El gran protagonista será el Festival of Nations, que regresa sábado y domingo a Tower Grove Park. Uno de los encuentros multiculturales más importantes de la región reunirá gastronomía, música, arte y tradiciones de más de 80 países, con más de 100 vendedores, presentaciones en vivo y actividades familiares. La entrada es gratuita.
The centerpiece will be the Festival of Nations, returning Saturday and Sunday to Tower Grove Park. One of the region's largest multicultural celebrations will bring together food, music, art, and traditions representing more than 80 countries, with over 100 vendors, live performances, and family activities. Admission is free.

La comunidad latina también tendrá importantes espacios durante el fin de semana. El viernes, Grupo Sazón Jazz llevará salsa y jazz latino a The Key, mientras que el sábado Club Viva, en Central West End, continuará siendo punto de encuentro para quienes quieran bailar salsa, bachata y merengue.
Latino Rhythm and Pride
The Latino community will also have several opportunities to celebrate throughout the weekend. On Friday, Grupo Sazón Jazz brings salsa and Latin jazz to The Key, while Saturday's Latin Night at Club Viva, in the Central West End, offers salsa, bachata, and merengue.
Uno de los acontecimientos destacados será la celebración de los Esperanza Awards 2026 este viernes en The Sheldon Concert Hall. Organizados por el Hispanic Leaders Group of Greater St. Louis, los premios reconocen a personas cuyo liderazgo y trabajo han fortalecido a la comunidad hispana y latina en áreas como negocios, educación, cultura, servicio comunitario, derechos humanos y vida pública.
Another highlight will be the 2026 Esperanza Awards Friday at The Sheldon Concert Hall. Organized by the Hispanic Leaders Group of Greater St. Louis, the awards recognize individuals whose leadership and work have strengthened the Hispanic and Latino community through business, education, culture, community service, human rights, and public life.

Finalmente, el domingo la Comunidad Cristiana Vida Nueva, en St. Charles, celebrará 28 años de su fundación bajo el lema “Más que bendecidos”. La congregación también conmemorará 10 años de servicio y agradecimiento pastoral y un año de contar con su propio templo. La celebración comienza a las 10:00 a.m.
Finally, on Sunday, Comunidad Cristiana Vida Nueva in St. Charles will celebrate its 28th anniversary under the theme “Más que bendecidos” — “More Than Blessed.” The congregation will also commemorate 10 years of pastoral service and gratitude and one year in its own church building. The celebration begins at 10:00 a.m.
