ST. LOUIS, MO (January 27, 2026) — Missouri Historical Society will mark the founding of St. Louis with a new annual tradition, the St. Louis Birthday Bash. The full weekend of activities will run February 13, 14 and 15 and include historical talks, vintage yard games, trivia, hands-on crafts, storytelling and live music throughout the Museum. The party atmosphere will peak each day with the Biggest Birthday Bash Sing-Along, scheduled for 11:25 a.m. Saturday and 2:25 p.m. Sunday, featuring local celebrity guests.

The Missouri Historical Society was established for the purpose of protecting, preserving and sharing those stories.”

More than a celebration, the St. Louis Birthday Bash is part of the Missouri Historical Society’s broader effort to expand the narrative of St. Louis, recognizing the city not only as a place where historical moments have happened, but as a place that has continually shaped the nation’s cultural, economic, and social fabric. 2026 ushers in a renewed momentum for the region, as the city approaches major national milestones including the 250th anniversary of the United States, the 100th anniversary of Route 66, and the centennial birthdays of cultural icons Miles Davis and Chuck Berry. Together, these moments offer an opportunity to reintroduce St. Louis’s legacy and its continued relevance to a national and global audience.

The weekend begins on Friday, February 13, with the Great Big T-Rav Remix, a tribute to the city’s iconic toasted ravioli. Renowned local chefs will present tastings of their own interpretations of the dish. Participating chefs include Stephanie Arnzen (Knead Bakehouse + Provisions), Andrew Cisneros (Brasas), Adjo Honsou (FUFU n’ Sauce), Haley Riley (Salt + Smoke), Michael Risk (O + O Pizza), Josh Smith (Neon Greens) and Nick Bognar (iNDO and Sado).

Following the Friday night celebration, the Birthday Bash continues with a full lineup of free, all-ages programming on Saturday, February 14, and Sunday, February 15. The Museum has partnered with prominent community organizations, restaurants, musicians and artists to create an inclusive, welcoming celebration that reflects the many stories and identities that make up St. Louis.
