One of St. Louis' most iconic establishments, O'Connell's Pub, has been sold after more than six decades of history. The announcement was made by its owner, John Parker Jr., who confirmed that the popular Irish restaurant and bar in the Southwest Garden neighborhood will be in the hands of a new group of local investors.
La venta llega casi dos años después de que Parker comenzara la búsqueda de un comprador para el negocio, conocido por sus famosas hamburguesas, sándwiches de rosbif y tradicionales pintas de Guinness. Aunque no se revelaron los términos económicos de la

The sale comes nearly two years after Parker began searching for a buyer for the business, known for its famous burgers, roast beef sandwiches and traditional pints of Guinness. Although the economic terms of the transaction and the identity of the new owners were not disclosed, the deal is expected to officially close during the first quarter of next year.
O'Connell's abrió originalmente en 1962 en Gaslight Square y fue adquirido por Jack Parker en 1965. O'Connell's originally opened in 1962 in Gaslight Square and was acquired by Jack Parker in 1965. Years later, the business was moved to its current location on Shaw Avenue, where it became a dining institution for generations of St. Louis residents. After Jack Parker's death in 2020, his son John took over the management of the establishment.
