During a conversation with local media, Kindle recalled the excitement of lifting the 25-pound trophy after St. Louis defeated Columbus in a penalty shootout. She described the moment as truly special, surrounded by hugs, tears and celebrations with the people who have supported the club throughout its growth.

The road to this achievement was not easy. In February 2025, Kindle had confidently said the team would make the playoffs, but City SC ultimately failed to qualify that season. Following that disappointment, the club made major changes to its sporting leadership and coaching staff, looking for a strategy that would help the team regain its direction and remain competitive.
