Un barco mercante se hundió el martes en el mar Negro frente a las costas de Bulgaria después de un ataque con drones, mientras otro buque resultó dañado. El incidente ocurrió dentro de la zona económica exclusiva de Bulgaria, miembro de la OTAN.
A merchant ship sank in the Black Sea off the coast of Bulgaria on Tuesday following a drone attack, while another vessel was damaged. The incident occurred inside Bulgaria’s exclusive economic zone. Bulgaria is a NATO member.
El barco que se hundió tenía bandera de Togo y todavía no estaba claro cuántas personas se encontraban a bordo. Las autoridades iniciaron una búsqueda de la tripulación desaparecida y también revisaban posibles riesgos ambientales.
The sunken vessel was flying the Togo flag, and it was not immediately clear how many people were on board. Authorities launched a search for the missing crew and were also checking for possible environmental risks.

El primer ministro búlgaro, Rumen Radev, condenó el ataque y dijo que no estaba claro inicialmente si los drones habían sido lanzados desde Rusia o Ucrania. El presidente ucraniano Volodymyr Zelenskiy afirmó posteriormente que una investigación conjunta con la
marina búlgara indicaba que Rusia estaba detrás del ataque.
Bulgarian Prime Minister Rumen Radev condemned the attack and initially said it was unclear whether the drones had come from Russia or Ukraine. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy later said a joint investigation with the Bulgarian navy indicated that Russia was responsible.
