A 26-year-old man has been arrested and faces a first-degree murder charge in the shooting death of a woman outside a nightclub in Brooklyn, Illinois. According to Illinois State Police,
Malik D. Day, a Pontoon Beach resident, is charged in connection with the death of Jon'nae Abbott, 21, of St. Louis.
Las autoridades indicaron que Abbott se encontraba en la fila afuera del Club O Gentlemen's Club durante las primeras horas del 20 de septiembre cuando fue alcanzada por disparos. La policía señaló que los disparos provinieron de un vehículo que circulaba frente al establecimiento antes de alejarse del lugar.
Authorities said Abbott was in line outside the O Gentlemen's Club during the early hours of Sept. 20 when she was struck by gunfire. Police said the shots came from a vehicle driving in front of the establishment before driving away.
