Mejoras en Gravois Greenway/Grant’s Trail: cierre temporal previsto

CONDADO DE SAINT LOUIS, MO– El Departamento de Parques y Recreación del Condado de Saint Louis, en colaboración con Great Rivers Greenway, iniciará un importante proyecto de mejora de la infraestructura a lo largo de Gravois Greenway/Grant’s Trail, entre el Parque Conmemorativo Officer Blake C. Snyder y la Interestatal 55. El proyecto incluye la sustitución de dos puentes y la reparación de un tercero, lo que mejorará la seguridad y el uso a largo plazo de esta popular vía verde.

SAINT LOUIS COUNTY, MO – Saint Louis County Parks and Recreation, in partnership with Great Rivers Greenway, will begin a significant infrastructure improvement project along Gravois Greenway/Grant’s Trail between Officer Blake C. Snyder Memorial Park and Interstate 55. The project includes the replacement of two bridges and repairs to a third, enhancing safety and long-term use of this popular greenway.

Para completar las obras de manera eficiente y segura, este tramo del sendero permanecerá cerrado durante aproximadamente 90 días, si las condiciones meteorológicas lo permiten. Se prevé que el cierre comience el 5 de enero de 2026, con el objetivo de reabrir a principios de la primavera de 2026 para minimizar las molestias a los usuarios de la vía verde. To complete the work efficiently and safely, this section of the trail will be closed for approximately 90 days, weather permitting. The closure is expected to begin January 5, 2026, with the goal of reopening by early spring 2026 to minimize disruption for greenway users. Please note this timeline could change due to the weather.
