I spent the entirety of yesterday afternoon playing competitive matches with my friends, but looking at my inventory afterwards was a massive letdown because all my recent drops are just basic, low-tier skins that look incredibly boring in-game. It is so frustrating when you want your weapons to have a bit of personality on the server

I know that exact feeling of exhaustion from looking at a wall of boring default drops, which is why I completely pivoted to utilizing third-party custom case platforms whenever I want to refresh my look. The main advantage is that you aren't locked into a massive, diluted pool of items; instead, you can actively pick specific community-curated boxes that focus strictly on the exact weapon types or color schemes you are trying to collect.
