Yeah, that’s a really common situation, I went through almost the same thing when I first started playing. I always thought roulette was just one standard game, but once you learn about the extra zero in the American version, it really makes you think differently. What helped me was realizing that European roulette has slightly better odds because there’s only one zero, which lowers the house edge.
