Por estos días me desperté con una noticia que expandió mi corazón y me invitó a respirar tan profundo como si el mismo salitre del mar golpeara mi ventana en este momento, pues la entrada en vigor del tratado de la ONU para proteger el 30% de las aguas internacionales es mucho más que un pacto legal, es el reconocimiento de que la inmensidad que nos rodea refleja exactamente la grandeza que nos habita, recordándonos que no somos gotas aisladas, sino el poder del océano mismo manifestándose en un movimiento constante de propósito.

These days, I woke up to news that expanded my heart and invited me to breathe as deeply as if the very sea salt of the ocean were crashing against my window at this very moment. The entry into force of the UN treaty to protect 30% of international waters is far more than a legal agreement—it is the recognition that the immensity surrounding us reflects the greatness that lives within us, reminding us that we are not isolated drops, but the power of the ocean itself, manifesting in a constant movement of purpose.

A menudo vivimos bajo la ilusión de la separación y creemos que lo que sucede en el azul profundo no tiene eco en nuestro espíritu. Sin embargo, este pacto por la biodiversidad nos demuestra que el concepto de "somos uno" ha dejado de ser una frase mística para convertirse en una estrategia de supervivencia donde entendemos que cada especie protegida en el abismo es una parte de nuestra propia alma que vuelve al equilibrio, pues el océano no es un recurso que nos pertenece sino una extensión de nuestra propia conciencia biológica y espiritual que hoy reclama su derecho a la paz.

We often live under the illusion of separation, believing that what happens in the deep blue has no echo in our spirit. Yet this biodiversity pact shows us that the idea of “we are one” has moved beyond a mystical phrase to become a survival strategy—one in which we understand that every species protected in the abyss is a part of our own soul returning to balance. The ocean is not a resource that belongs to us, but an extension of our own biological and spiritual consciousness, now reclaiming its right to peace.

En mis conferencias siempre te digo que la abundancia no es acumulación sino el flujo sagrado de la energía y el mar es el maestro supremo de esta verdad al enseñarnos que cuando dejamos de intentar poseerlo y comenzamos a proteger su esencia, la vida se multiplica milagrosamente para todos, permitiendo que la "economía azul" sea en realidad una metáfora de nuestra capacidad de dar y recibir sin miedo a la escasez, porque la verdadera riqueza de un ser humano florece únicamente cuando su entorno también tiene el espacio y la libertad para prosperar.

In my conferences, I often remind you that abundance is not accumulation, but the sacred flow of energy. The sea is the supreme teacher of this truth, showing us that when we stop trying to possess it and begin to protect its essence, life multiplies miraculously for all. In this sense, the “blue economy” becomes a metaphor for our capacity to give and receive without fear of scarcity—because true human wealth flourishes only when our environment also has the space and freedom to thrive.

Este llamado a proteger el 30% del planeta para el año 2030 es una invitación directa a que tú también establezcas tus propias "áreas protegidas" internas donde el ruido del ego y la ambición desmedida no puedan entrar a saquear tus tesoros más sagrados, obligándonos a reflexionar sobre qué tan comprometidos estamos con nuestra propia ecología emocional para que la integridad de nuestras acciones diarias refleje ese mismo amor y respeto que hoy el mundo le promete a las profundidades del mar.

This call to protect 30% of the planet by the year 2030 is a direct invitation for you to establish your own internal “protected areas,” where the noise of ego and unchecked ambition cannot enter to plunder your most sacred treasures. It challenges us to reflect on how committed we truly are to our own emotional ecology, so that the integrity of our daily actions mirrors the same love and respect the world now promises to the depths of the sea.

Si la humanidad ha logrado por fin mirar más allá de sus intereses egoístas para salvaguardar el origen de toda la vida, te pido que te sumerjas hoy en tu propio silencio para conectar con esa abundancia que ya reside en ti, celebrando este despertar colectivo no como un triunfo político sino como el regreso triunfal a casa donde finalmente comprendemos que cuidar del otro es la forma más elevada de cuidarnos a nosotros mismos, porque en este inmenso océano de la existencia no hay orillas que nos separen, sino una sola ola de amor que nos contiene a todos.

If humanity has finally managed to look beyond its selfish interests to safeguard the source of all life, I invite you today to dive into your own silence and reconnect with the abundance that already resides within you—celebrating this collective awakening not as a political victory, but as a triumphant return home. It is there that we finally understand that caring for others is the highest form of caring for ourselves, because in this vast ocean of existence there are no shores that divide us, only a single wave of love that holds us all.
