Incendio mortal en spas de Cahokia Heights destapa antiguos casos federales y conexiones inmobiliarias

One of the businesses, formerly known as Pink Spa, was connected to a federal case involving Kyong Suk Kipilla. In 2014, prosecutors accused her of operating and promoting a prostitution business. She later faced a separate federal charge alleging that she deliberately deposited money in amounts below $10,000 to avoid financial transaction reporting requirements involving the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).

Records also identify Ronald Kipilla as the current business owner and indicate that he lives at the same North St. Louis address as Kyong Suk Kipilla.
