ST. LOUIS — The holiday season is fast approaching, and Kiener Plaza will transform to welcome visitors to a winter wonderland. Winterfest at Kiener Plaza will run from Nov. 21, 2026, to Jan. 3, 2027.

El día de la inauguración, la comunidad podrá disfrutar de la carrera Winterfest 5K, patinaje sobre hielo gratuito y el festival de luces. Los asistentes también podrán ver a Papá Noel y disfrutar de actuaciones en vivo, el desfile Thanks For Giving, la ceremonia de encendido del árbol de Navidad, un espectáculo navideño con drones y fuegos artificiales.

On opening day, the community can enjoy the Winterfest 5K, free ice skating and the festival of lights. Attendees will also be able to see Santa Claus and enjoy live performances, the Thanks For Giving parade, the Christmas tree lighting ceremony, a holiday drone show and fireworks.

"Winterfest has become a holiday tradition in St. Louis," said Ryan McClure, executive director of the Gateway Arch Park Foundation, in a statement. "Every year, people return with their families, introduce Winterfest to someone new or create unforgettable memories. This year's programming gives visitors even more reasons to make Winterfest part of their holiday traditions, whether it's an afternoon skate, a special event or simply spending time together with the iconic Gateway Arch and the Old Courthouse as a backdrop."

This year, Winterfest introduces a new layout that will span all of Kiener Plaza. Organizers announced new interactive light displays, four new themed igloos, a curling-themed café and Winterfest trivia nights.
