El mundo no está falto de liderazgo. Está falto de silencio interior. De ese espacio donde uno deja de reaccionar para comenzar a comprender. Hoy vemos decisiones que se anuncian como certezas, discursos que no admiten preguntas y posturas que se endurecen cuanto más evidente es la fractura social. No es una crisis de poder; es una crisis de escucha.

The world is not lacking leadership. It is lacking inner silence—the space where one stops reacting and begins to understand. Today we see decisions announced as certainties, speeches that allow no questions, and positions that harden precisely as social fracture becomes more evident. This is not a crisis of power; it is a crisis of listening.

Cuando un líder gobierna desde la sordera emocional, pierde contacto con la realidad humana. Ya no percibe el cansancio colectivo, ni el miedo, ni la esperanza. Solo oye su propia lógica. Y así, poco a poco, el liderazgo se vuelve vertical, impenetrable, incapaz de aprender. No es fortaleza lo que allí se expresa, sino una profunda fragilidad interior.

When a leader governs from emotional deafness, they lose contact with human reality. They no longer perceive collective exhaustion, fear, or hope. They hear only their own logic. And thus, little by little, leadership becomes vertical, impenetrable, incapable of learning. What is expressed there is not strength, but a deep inner fragility.

Mientras ese modelo se repite en distintas geografías, en otros rincones del mundo emerge una forma de liderazgo que no se impone, se encarna. En Irán, las mujeres han asumido un rol histórico enfrentando un sistema que intenta silenciarlas desde hace décadas. No lo hacen desde la violencia, sino desde una valentía consciente que nace del amor propio y del anhelo de dignidad. Cada gesto, cada paso, cada acto público se convierte en un mensaje más potente que cualquier proclama.

While this model repeats itself across different geographies, in other corners of the world a form of leadership emerges that is not imposed, but embodied. In Iran, women have taken on a historic role, confronting a system that has tried to silence them for decades. They do not do so through violence, but through conscious courage born of self-love and a longing for dignity. Every gesture, every step, every public act becomes a message more powerful than any proclamation.

Ellas nos enseñan que liderar no es controlar, sino sostener. No es gritar más fuerte, sino mantenerse fiel a la verdad interior incluso cuando el costo es alto. Su liderazgo no busca acumular poder, sino devolverle humanidad a una sociedad que ha aprendido a normalizar el miedo.

They teach us that leadership is not about control, but about holding space. It is not about shouting louder, but about remaining faithful to inner truth even when the cost is high. Their leadership does not seek to accumulate power, but to restore humanity to a society that has learned to normalize fear.

Este contraste debería interpelarnos a todos. Porque el mundo no necesita más dirigentes incapaces de dialogar, ni más estructuras que confundan autoridad con dominio. Necesita líderes que entiendan que escuchar transforma, que la empatía también es estrategia, y que la conciencia es una forma elevada de poder.

This contrast should challenge us all. Because the world does not need more leaders incapable of dialogue, nor more structures that confuse authority with domination. It needs leaders who understand that listening transforms, that empathy is also strategy, and that consciousness is a higher form of power.

Tal vez la gran lección de este tiempo sea simple y profunda: quienes se atreven a escuchar —al otro y a sí mismos— están sembrando el liderazgo del futuro. Un liderazgo que no oprime, no deshumaniza y no teme cambiar.

Perhaps the great lesson of our time is simple and profound: those who dare to listen—to others and to themselves—are planting the seeds of the leadership of the future. A leadership that does not oppress, does not dehumanize, and does not fear change.
